Weight of water in well times .013

Example

16″ Well – 100′ Total Depth – 25′ static – 40′ Screen

This well has 75′ of standing water.

16″ casing holds 10.5 gallons per foot

  75′ x 10.5 = 787.5 gal. of water

  787.5 x 8.34 = 6567 lbs. of water

  6567 x .013 = 85 lbs. of Clear Well

These are figures for a normal 30% to 40% decline.

Wells with 50% to 70%, use 1-1/2 to 2 times the amount.

For wells over 70%, use 2 to 3 times the amount.

Using Clear Well B/E with G/A creates a stronger dose and also works on all bacteria present.
